Valley Gastroenterology Associates is a medical group specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, including diseases of the stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, and the esophagus. Common diseases treated include colitis, Crohn's disease, ulcers, swallowing disorders, liver conditions such as hepatitis and cirrhosis. Diarrhea, gastro-intestinal bleeding, hemorrhoids, heartburn, hiatal hernia, intestinal gas, and unexplained abdominal pain are some other disorders treated by our group.

Morry Moskovitz, M.D. , F.A.C.P.

Dr. Moskovitz was raised in the Beaver Valley and graduated from New Brighton High School. From there he studied at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Magna Cum Laude.   Dr. Moskovitz earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1973. He performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by a Post Doctoral Fellowship in the subspecialty of Gastroenterology at the Yale Affiliated Gastroenterology Program at Norwalk and Yale-New Haven Hospitals in Connecticut. In 1978 he opened his private practice in Beaver, PA.  He remains active in teaching by providing medical lectures for the Family Practice Residency Program of the Medical Center, Beaver as well as to local physicians and other health care professionals. He is very active in clinical research and participates in several studies each year.  He is trained in the use of medical lasers, specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic hepatobillary endoscopy (ERCP) and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Moskovitz is honored to have served as a past president of the Beaver County Medical Society and a past president of the medical staff at The Medical Center, Beaver, Inc.   He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Pittsburgh Gut Club and Western Pennsylvania Endoscopy Society, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr Moskovitz resides in Patterson Township with his wife Susan.  He has two adult daughters,  Brittany & Courtney.  He is an avid golfer, speaks Spanish & German, enjoys traveling and photography.  The photography on this web site is produced by Dr. Moskovitz.  You can see more of his work at morrymoskovitz.com.


Robert J. Fadden, M.D.

Dr. Fadden hails originally from Maryland. He graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD, and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1982. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Carolina in Charleston he went on to complete a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Since joining the practice in 1987, Dr Fadden has been active in clinical research, specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic hepatobillary endoscopy (ERCP), is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is the current Medical Director for Four Seasons Endoscopy Center.  Dr. Fadden is  board certified in both Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology.   He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Beaver County Medical Society, the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, the Pittsburgh Gut Club and Western Pennsylvania Endoscopy Society and, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopist.
Dr. Fadden is a resident of Sewickley, PA. and has two children, Robert and Aimee.  His personal interests are sailing and scuba diving.  He also plays both the guitar and piano.


Roberto Inglese, MD
Dr. Inglese was born and grew up in Sora a town near Rome, Italy and received his medical degree from The State University of Rome, Italy in 1980, graduating with top honors.  He received his specialty training in Gastroenterology at the same institution. After moving to the United States, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, New York, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at The Jamaica Hospital, Jamaica, New York. He maintains certification in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology by The American Board of Internal Medicine. Since joining the practice in 1991, Dr Inglese has been active in clinical research.  He has a strong interest in diagnostic and therapeutic hepatobillary endoscopy (ERCP) and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  Currently, Dr Inglese serves as the president of Valley Gastroenterology Associates.  He is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Beaver County Medical Society, the Pittsburgh Gut Club and Western Pennsylvania Endoscopy Society, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Inglese resides in Moon Township with his wife Grazia.  He has two sons, Lorenzo and Stefano. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Italian and Spanish.  Dr. Inglese's personal interests include tennis, travel, reading and   playing the piano.  


Karen Jerome-Zapadka, MD

Dr. Zapadka is a native of Ellwood City, PA. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health Related Professions with a BS in Physical Therapy. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Zapadka performed her internship, residency and two-year fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Zapadka has been practicing gastroenterology since 1993 and joined our practice in 2000.  She is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Zapadka has a special interest in wellness and nutrition and incorporates these aspects into her clinical practice.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Beaver County Medical Society, the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and the Pittsburgh Gut Club and Western Pennsylvania Endoscopy Society.

Dr Zapadka resides in Chippewa with her husband, Stan and their three children, Nicholas, Cameron and Analise.  Her personal interests are cooking, baking and travel.


Jonathan K. McClure, MD

Dr. McClure joined our practice in October of 2000. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. McClure performed his internship, residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He successfully passed an examination prepared by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Family Practice and is certified to have added qualifications in geriatric medicine. Even though Dr. McClure joined our practice in 2000, he has been in the practice of internal medicine and gastroenterology since 1983, limiting his practice to only gastroenterology since 1995. He is a member of the American College of Physicians both national and state chapters, American Gastroenterological Association, the AMA, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Beaver County Medical Society. He and his family are residents of Darlington, PA.


Richard J. Kenney, D.O.

Dr. Kenney joined the practice in 2002. He and his wife, Lara, are from the Pittsburgh area. He received his B.A. from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA. In 1995, he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, IL.  Dr. Kenney performed his internal medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Illinois Hospital and the VA West Side Medical Center in Chicago, IL serving as chief fellow. He also enjoys sports medicine and did a sports medicine elective with the University of Pittsburgh and his favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopists, American College of Physicians, and the American Diabetes Association.

Dr Kenney is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing softball and golf.  Dr Kenney, Lara and their son Ryan are residents of Brighton Township.


Michael de Jesus, MD
Dr. de Jesus joined the practice in late July of 2006.   He is a graduate of Blackhawk High School, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He attended medical school at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay, College of Medicine in the Philippines. 

Dr. de Jesus completed his internal medicine residency at Western Reserve Care System Forum Health Youngstown, Ohio and Gastroenterology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital Pittsburgh, where he also served as the Chief Fellow of Gastroenterology.  He has previously served as a Technical Editor at the Warren G. Magnuson Clinical Centers (National Institutes of Health) in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Dr. de Jesus is active in clinical research and has interests in Obesity and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic endoscopy.  He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Dr. de Jesus is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology.

Dr. de Jesus lives in Chippewa Township with his wife Shannon and their three daughters Camille and Eleanor and Sophia.


Sean A. Connelly, DO
Dr. Connelly joined Valley Gastroenterology Associates in July of 2008. Earning his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Dr. Connelly went on to complete his Traditional Rotating Internship at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh PA.
Both Dr. Connelly's Internal medicine Residency and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology were completed at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to his GI Fellowship he also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Hepatology and Liver Transplant at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA
Dr. Connelly is active in clinical research and has interests in acute and chronic liver disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic endoscopy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible Gastroenterology. Dr. Connelly is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Connelly lives in Moon Township, PA with his wife Melissa and his daughters Riley, Reagan and Reese. His personal interests include travel, music, golf and photography
